Squeeling brakes.. HELP~!
Back in March I replaced the brakes as I'm up/down a ski hill every day and they get a little more wear/tare then normal one..
my first brake change right after getting the vehicle was great until when driving in the city they started to squeak when light pressure was applied.. this was rain or shine. I had them redone .. started again.. had them redone again (3rd time) with different pads.. still does it to this day ..
The big question that I have is now upon start up when I leave my road side parking and turn around to get out of my road, the forward motion brings out a huge 'squeeling' noise for about 5-10 seconds until the vehicle is moving more quickly.. what would be cause this? it happens when it's been stagnent for a while and doesn't matter on weather..

Ever fix this? Sounds like a sticking caliper. Mine does the same when I leave from curbside and that's what I'm assuming it will be when I get around to replacing it.

pull calipers off, remove little slide thingers, clean out boots, lube with lithium grease, replace caliper.
and/or spring for spendy pads and get rotors turned
just did this myself

and while you have it apart take a flat file and knock a chamfer in the leading edge of the pads. If any of the hardware looks suspect you might want to pop for a "hardware kit" as well. How are the hoses? Old hoses can sometimes trap a little pressure in the caliper and fake a draggy caliper.
