Default Squeal from the front while in 4WD

Alright guys this started last winter after I did a small snowy hill climb in 4WD High..

I've got an NP231 TC and a Dana 30 front.
Less than a year old U Joints on the front axle.
Freshly changed front differential fluids.

This will happen when I engaged 4WD (no turning on pavement, I know)

I will pull up on the handle and a second later... REEEEEEEEEEEEEE

Almost sounds like a constant pig squeal, or shrieking. This then goes away a few seconds after I put it back into 2WD. It doesn't happen when I'm turning in 2WD, only while going straight in 4WD. I also think it gets louder with speed. (Afraid to leave it engaged for too long)

Would this be caused by a leaky seal on the back of the diff, or from the driveshaft ect?

Let me know, Thanks.

I never had that one happen to me. But, I would probably start be checking the fluid in your transfer case and front axle.

Okay, I guess I'll be checking the transfer case then, as I just changed the front differential fluid.

Anyone else?

well I was thinking seized bearings on the front diff at the pinion or the axle ends, but now it sounds a little like a linkage problem.... and yes the noise would only happen in 4WD
