Are there any special tools required to replace factory swing arm bushings on the front of 99' Cherokee? I remember somewhere someone talking about a tapered bolt and ball joint puller? I have new rubber bushings in hand and the FSM doesn't address any special tools. Anyone do this or know first hand if the Ball Joint Puller is needed?

For a simple anti-sway bar bushing replacement no special tools are needed. A basic socket set and a little grease should do it. I replaced mine a month ago with poly bushings and they even came with grease.

Thank's for the response. I bought the factory new rubber bushin kit (4ea flying saucer looking bushings). I did a full poly-bushing set on my last car (Lexus GS400) for control arms, sway bar, steering rack and it caused it to ride like CRAP. Way too rough and doesn't have the "give" that rubber allows. I would rather replace them every 50K miles than have that poly-rough ride again.
