Default Speakers not working!

Hey fellas i love my music but over time all my speakers have become silent so whats the deal? Is it a flaw in the witing harness? And is there a relatively cheap way to get my speakers back to life?
Thanks, James

Did they just stop working one day? Did all of them stop working at the same time? Sounds like a bad connection somewhere at the radio

all 4, front and rear?
the wiring runs through the doors at the wiring harness, which over years can break/split

They have all gone dead over time at seperate times. The only one left that still barely works is my passenger side door speaker but when the door opens the speaker shorts out and no sound comes out. I've never gotten sound out of my driver side speaker even after i replaced the front speakers.

The doors will be the wires through the doors tunes. Some really brainy individual decided to put the splice for the tweeter leads inside the rubber tube running to the doors. Add the extra high quality of stock solder splices and you have the answer there (run new wires to the inner door). The rears are likely a similar situation, but you get to hunt for the break.

Do you have an aftermarket head unit? I'd be suspect of the wiring harness to connect it to the factory wiring. I've seen some shady wiring jobs.

Subscribing. I have the same issue but all of my speakers stopped at the same time. I already checked the wires in the door jams and they are fine. :-/

Before you spend a lot of time trying to figure out wiring problems that may not actually exist, you might want to pull the door panels off and take a look at the speakers themselves. The stock speakers in my doors went buzzy and then died, and it turned out the diaphragms in both of them had rotted away. It's easy to see if that has happened just by looking at them.

I was taking a window regulator out of one at the junk yard and happened to notice that its speakers looked exactly like mine. Apparently after a while the stock speakers just rot.

Or maybe it's wires after all. Only one way to find out.

How much would it be to get new wires to run to my speakers from the harness? Anymore ideas on what to do? Cuz my front speakers are new but only one works and the rears just died over time they may have actualy died lol

"Anymore ideas on what to do?"

Have you checked the wiring/connections? and...?
Just me, but with no tunes, I'm driving something else.
