I don't think speakers do have a fuse on a jeep. The radio does although. Are your speakers connected to an amp? If so, it would have an inline fuse.

Speakers do not have fuses. Re-check wiring.

hmm I do know almost all xj's had a problem with the front speakers where the connectors usually would fall off or the wires inside and around the boot would literally cut off. If you have time I would take out all the speakers and test it out on something else and before doing that I would make sure all the connectors are plugged in. If the speakers are dead then go to walmart and you can get decent ones for 30 bucks. Next try doing a speaker test to the head unit. All you do is take a random speaker and wire it up to one of the positive and neg wires on the head unit and see if it works. If nothing is working then you might be having a malfunctioning head unit.

Did they work with the old radio? If yes then faulty wireing or bad head unit. If no probbaly bad wireing from the factory. My factory rear speakers are shorted to ground which can cause some headunits to shut the amp chip down. As stated above check your wiring and try known good speakers the the back of the head unit.

Ps some very high end head units do have fuses on the outputs but they are online glass fuses. But id never put something that fancy in an xj.....
