just because u dont have a stock deck doesn't mean it puts out enough power. no deck puts out enough power to scream the speakers really loud. i have a 400 dollar pioneer in mine, and it wasn't nearly powerful enough.

 

does yours have speakers in the rear ceiling? if so u just take the moldings off and the whole thing will come down.

a component system consists of the tweeter (highs) then the mid and low. and it comes with crossovers that u connect them with. u have to do more work for a component system. its worth the money though. like all these new chevys and yukons, they have bose speakers. that is a component system, may not be very loud but thats because the amp doesn't have enough power.
