Default Sparks sometimes

M having some trouble starting the heep I just replaced the head gasket and did get it started right after I finished putting it together but I had a misfire but that's because the wire for cyl 2 isn't connected properly but if I play around with some wires it'll start sometimes one is the wire on the lower part of the alternator the other wire is going to the coil, I'm terrible with wires so is it possible my coils bad? Please any input will help

If it starts when you move the wires around... I'd say, it sounds like your wires or connections are bad. I'd clean all those connections before replacing the coil.

Yea the clip for the connector is cracked but the last time I was messing with it I had absolutely no spark, I was very sad haha but I fugured that'd be the problem, do you know if that wire at the bottom of the alt goes straight to the coil? Like I said wiring is not my thing in any way

Ok coil is good, I'm not sure what to do now, plugs, wires, distributed, cap and rotor are all new and I'm not sure what wires go where at this point

The first two comments almost sound like you're talking about the injector connector. Could you be more specific about which wires you're talking about, or maybe include a pic?

I cleaned off the ground that's right in front of the coil as well as I could and unplugged everything and made sure when I plugged it in it was all tight
