spark plug ?

i need to gap the spark plug all 6 my friend wants to take all thje spark plugs out at once am i right ur not supposed to do that

not really important on the 2000-2001 XJs but on older jeeps doing one at a time keeps you from putting the spark plugs wires on wrong.

btw best plugs for our engines with the coil packs is
NGK V-Power Spark Plug gapped to .035

Doesn't matter. You're replacing all of them. I always use a little dielectric grease on the plug before connecting. I agree that the NGK plug is the best choice for the 00-01 coil pack, distributorless ignition. I recommend Champions for 84-99, but NGK for 00-01. Be sure gap is at .035 before installing them. Don't assume gap is good out of the box!

Whatever you do, do NOT install Bosch plugs. There are numerous threads of people having mysterious misfires with Bosch plugs, which are resolved when switching to a different plug mfg. I love most Bosch products, but some 4.0 engines have had issues with their plugs.
