I've been wanting to put one, but I didn't know if it would fit. I'm tired of only having two speakers.

you could also put speakers in the rear doors or the hatch door. Do a search on "speakers", lots ot creativity on this topic.

Anyone try to put a wj sound bar in? I grabbed one yesterday for cheap and it has nice speakers in it!

Trying to figure out how to get it in there.

Like he said, you can put them on '84 - '96s for sure... I don't see why you couldn't put one in '97 - '01s but you definitely can for the boxier style XJs. I plan on installing one in the front of mine so I can do the doorless mod eventually.
