I rebuilt the entire front-end think 3 years ago before I gave him the XJ and I mean everything suspension and steering...well except for the axle u joints as previous owner did it and gear box as its good. Has maybe 25k on it since. I'm thinking possibly wheel bearing. He said only does it while going around a right curve kinda fast (hope he isn't driving like I used too!) but don't hear anything. Has Timken wheel bearing hub in it. Guess time to jack it up and start shaking and prying.

 

Yep. No substitute for a visual inspection.

 

Yea, I was hoping we would be done with any issue for atleast 5 years...oh well. I drove it to work other day and only did it in one curve but I'll be damned if I remember if it was a right curve or not.lol.
