I smell raw fuel but I have checked the whole fuel system and don't see any leaks. Anyone have any idea where it could be coming from? I have about an 1/8 tank of gas or less because I need to drop the tank to fix a hole in the floor.

 

You could be running rich what color is your exhaust.

 

Since you have to when you drop the tank. Check all your grommets around the fuel pump. Check the neck out...

Once you mount the fuel tank back up then. Fill it up as much as you can then recheck for leaks.

 

I think I have bad valve seals so it burns a little bit of oil. The exhaust is black on the tail pipe. Smokes white when idling. No smoke when driving.

 

check and make sure you have a good gas cap. I have the smell of fuel and didnt know what it was. replaced the cap and no more smell.

 

seems to be the little things that fix the problems.
