Default small thread.

After doing this on sunday... Real big Wooops

I decided to do this, sunday night...

which of course lead to this, monday ...

I undercoated the front and rear floor of the Jeep and ordered new Carpets front and rear
Luckily I shut the Engine off in time.

Oh yeah, and NOT GOING THROUGH ANY MORE CREEKS !!!

Good job, but don't forget to change your fluids in the diffs and the tranny plus the transfercase.

don't forget to order new underlayment/pads as well (that sound deadening stuff...) you'll never get the "swamp" smell out of that either.

Pour some Lysol in the underlayment when you start to put the carpets in. It may help with the smell down the road.

I have already extended my front axle vent and t-case vent. do i still need to drain and refill?

Underlayment pad????

I think they are talking about the stuff that is glued to the backside of the carpet.....looks like shreaded and pressed togather beach towels. Hopefilly your new carped comes with some new stuff glued to it.

while you have it apart, take off your shifter and lengthin your tranny breather. its in a stupid spot to get to but worth it if you lengthin it. keep out the carpet and hurculine that beast and get some removable plugs, it'll be imho...
