Will adding Racing Exhaust tip make my jeep different?

yes a tip will make it louder. if it is bigger than the pipe its going on, it will act like a megaphone. depending on your muffler will depend on how much louder it will get.

Well that depends. It will be differnet from most other jeeps on the road unless someone has the same tip, then it would be the same as some other jeep. But I doubt that you would ever notice.

Sorry I had to go there. Anyway I do not think it will effect the performance, like many have said, it may change the way it sounds.

If you do get a tip make sure its welded on and not one of the cheap bolt on ones. They dont seal right and tend to whistle when you accelerate. I had one on my last jeep for 5 min and took it off bc it sounded so bad.

 

your "yes or no" turned into a debate. to answer the question. no it wont help performance.

 

I have a cheapo thrush turbo on mine and sounds great. I also have a foot long 4" wide tip that helped a little but with stock its only for looks with a slight change.

 

Big tip is always good for 10 to 20 horse
