Default Shuts off while turning

Hey new here but Im having a lot of issues and cant find any other help. I have a 1985 Cherokee pioneer/wagoneer and currently fully stock besides replacement parts. When I crank the wheel it shuts off completely, and even died on a bump offroading even though it was taken slow. Any ideas?

OK is you 2.8 v6 engine have a carburetor on it ? and if it does it probably needs to be adjusted to give you a better idle .

The thing is she runs perfectly fine I drove her for 30 minutes once and was fine until I cranked the wheel all the way. Barely turning she didnt turn off. Just when cranked. She idles fine, Ive owned a couple XJs before and never had this issue. And it does have a carburetor

Is it a V6 or 4 cylinder?
Can't remember if the V6s had this, but the 4 cylinders did. A sensor in the power steering pressure line that would signal the idle controller to bump the idle up.
