Crank Scraper: Good Yes/No?

Model: Cherokee
Engine: 4.0L 6Cyl, K&N, 62mm TB, Electric Fans, D Neon Injectors, Head gasket needing replaced.
Crank Scraper: Good Yes/No?
Does anyone have any experiance with with installing/using a "crank scraper" on the 4.0? Sounds like a good idea. Google crank scraper to find the website.

How many rpms will you consistently be turning? The 4.0 is generally a low rpm engine and the crank scraper doesn't really do much until the higher revs. They are good in an all out race engine to squeese every last hp out of a combo, but not necessary on a Jeep I would say. Unless you are doing some type of off road racing?

That what I was thinking also about it was just good for racing. My rpm's stay low usually. Just figured I would get some input from CF guys.

This is one of those engine mods that if I was in the bottom end of a motor and had the time to order the scrapper I would put it on. Might be for all out race motors, but this could potentially help with not airating the oil in an off camber/severe down hill/up hill situation.
