1987 cherokee racing idle/non-starting
my rig has had a problem for a while with the throttle/idle racing (up to 3000 RPM) and not kicking down sometimes when hot. Settles down if I shut down restart a few times.
Other problem is it also just flat out refuses to fire up. Normally it fires right up after a few rotations, but then it does this. Mystified right now honestly. thought maybe fuel pressure, but seems okay.
Are these two symptoms related???
I've replaced the Idle Stepper Motor and the Crank Sensor recently thinking one of them could be culprit. No change.
