Default short arm or long arm

Been saving for a while now and this spring gonna Be gettin a lift finally. Lookin into BDS 4.5. They offer short and long arm...
Oppinions on both? Is long arm better then short arm??
There's quite a price difference so any imput on the diffrences in ride quality along with functionality would be greatly appreciated

you get what you pay for... at your height, you want long arms.

True story. I've done a lot of both and the long arm defiantly rides better. It's a lot more than the short arm kit but you do get what you pay for.

Long arms for sure i had 4.5 inches of lift and short arms rode like i had cinder blocks as suspension put long arms on and i love them

im going with BDS 4.5LA also.
reason i've chosen them is because there lifetime warranty on all parts.

Not trying to be "that guy",but this shouldn't be in oem tech,right?
Either way long arms all the way with taller lifts. Here is my dd with 5.5" lift with terafllex long arms converted to radius arms.rides awsome.

How is it OEM tech when we are discussing aftermarket lift kits and short vs long arms?
