I exploded my jeeps dana 35 (it was in poor condition and time for a new one). A guy on craigslist is selling one from his jeep. a 94 2wd back axle, this should work in my 90 right?

I think it will work, but something in the back of my mind keeps saying ask cf

Ya it will work but don't get it, upgrade since you are doing the work. Get a Chrysler 8.25 29 spline if you can but 27 spline is still better than a 35. For a real upgrade you should look for a d44 from a Cherokee

If its the only option than just make sure you have matching gears. But be on the look even if you get the 35, if you don't mind me asking how much your getting it for?

All the other posts on craigslist are for 1tons or garbage back axles for 500+. 1tons are going for about 800-1200$ here.

for 150 you could get a JY 8.25...

D35's go for about 50-80$ here. not even worth that IMO. but if its the only option the it will work, would just hate to see you asking/replacing it again...

I sold my 8.25 29 spline fore 80$ and a 30 pack lol

Unfortunately non near by, and the closest ones still want more for an axle you pull for yourself.

D44 local to you 200$ not a bad price!

$200 for a D44 is a good price as most people ask $350-400... hope it helps
