Default Shock Question

I recently purchase 2" OME leaf springs from Quadratec and 1 3/4" spacers for the front coils. The tech said the leaf springs would give about 3" of lift and then settle down to 2" after a little while. My question is, will I need new shocks? I've heard 2" doesn't need new shocks, but if it starts out at 3" and then settles, are new shocks a necessity?? I don't do any crazy 4x4 roads, but i will be camping this summer and will be on some roads that will require 4 wheel drive. Let me know what you think. Thanks.

I would call ARB directaly and give them the number on the spring so that they can tell you witch spring it is.I purchased my OME lift through Quadratec and was given bad info by them about the front springs and what side to put them on.Talk to the guys at ARB they rock.
