Default she just stalls while im driving ...

I shifted into 2nd and she just stopped that was just a few minutes ago but its not the first time. the first time she did this i was in 1st pulling away from a traffic light and just stopped.

shes a 1995 XJ 4.0L ax-15 ... let her sit for a few minute and she gets going again ... the oil filter is leaking oil slowly im going to do an oil change soon and check to see if its clogged ... spark plugs are very clean.

what could be causing this?

please help with some ideas

If it turns out to not be the fuse, I had the same problem, my cherokee would just cut out all of a sudden, I would try to restart and it wouldn't right away, I would let it sit for a few minutes and it would be fine. I left it and thought it was nothing at first, then it wouldn't start at all half the time. I eventually buckled and took it in, after changing the ignition coil (didn't work) and it ended up being the Crankshaft Position Sensor.
Not trying to but in and say your wrong, just my experience when I had a similar problem. Hopefully its not the CPS cause that cost me a few dollars more than $15

also look into the cam sensor that is in the distriutor, it will trip the auto shut down relay, or your dist. wires are getting bare near the dip stick tube.

you guys are making me sweat and

if its the cam or crank sensor ... I think I might as well just get the motor rebuilt while I'm at it ... yes?

I know if it is the cam i will have who ever works on it redo the top end at the very least cuz the damn sticky lifter that drives me nuts ...

not worth rebuilding motor, both sensors are easy to get to, don't have to tear the motor apart.
