I shifted into 2nd and she just stopped that was just a few minutes ago but its not the first time. the first time she did this i was in 1st pulling away from a traffic light and just stopped.
shes a 1995 XJ 4.0L ax-15 ... let her sit for a few minute and she gets going again ... the oil filter is leaking oil slowly im going to do an oil change soon and check to see if its clogged ... spark plugs are very clean.
what could be causing this?
please help with some ideas

Watch ur battery gauge. i had a simliar problem if that is the issue it is NOT your Alternator. it's a 15$ fuse. easy to tell because if you tap the correct fuse it temp. fixxes issue
Well next time it stalls open the hood and find the ASD relay and give it a few taps. not super hard. if problem is it works after that. you found the problem. happened to me and drove me crazy cause i had no idea what the problem was. just my .02
Good luck

If it turns out to not be the fuse, I had the same problem, my cherokee would just cut out all of a sudden, I would try to restart and it wouldn't right away, I would let it sit for a few minutes and it would be fine. I left it and thought it was nothing at first, then it wouldn't start at all half the time. I eventually buckled and took it in, after changing the ignition coil (didn't work) and it ended up being the Crankshaft Position Sensor.
Not trying to but in and say your wrong, just my experience when I had a similar problem. Hopefully its not the CPS cause that cost me a few dollars more than $15
