Shaking and vibrating
I own a 01 Cherokee limited and have a slight problem in the 50-55mph range. When my Cherokee is accelerating to or past 50-55mph i experience a ton of vibration and shaking in the steering wheel and even my passenger seat shakes and vibrates (no one sitting in it that is). If i try and cruise at 50-55mph i still experience a solid amount of shaking and vibration in the steering wheel. I don't know what to do, i haven't lifted it yet and have done pretty moderate modifications to my Jeep. Any help would be great help.

The tires are balanced and set. i will look into the bulge and see if there could be a problem with that, the tires are still fairly new tho. I dont think its the brakes but they will be the next thing i will take off and check. I hope this problem isnt a precursor to "death wobble". What would be some other easy fixes to look into?

You could have a rod end shaking loose or any of your ends for that matter. A simple check of getting under the front and checking for anything loose (bolts, rod ends, etc) could be an easy and cheap fix.

Hey fellas it ended up being a loose right tie rod end that was causing the shaking and rattling, not to mention the tires were balanced properly, tread was wearing differently on all tires none the less. All is good and She is running amazing!!
