Default Shackles

Does anyone know much lift MJ shackles give on a XJ? Wasnt sure if it was 1/2 inch or a full inch.

i dont know much, but i think you can buy them up to 2" mabey more i have not installed mine yet but ill let you know how it turns out. but i did a bb and got 2" lift with 4 shocks, 2" front coil spring spacers and 2" rear hd shackle

isnt the xj and mj practically identical?

Kinda, the MJ is a pickup. They have longer shackles in the back to allow you to carry weight in the bed. Junk yards will usually sell em for $20 a pair.

yeah I know its a pick up, but I didnt know it was taller in the back.. thanx for the info

yeah the MJ shackles will get you a full inch roughly...ALso if you get some JY shcakles make sure you snag new bushing and sleeve and install them...
