Default serpentine belt replacement

hi there, I'm Andre from the U.K. and I have a '94 cherokee 4.0ltr. I have just replaced the water pump, but I'm having trouble refitting the drivebelt. I've got a Haynes manual ( like a Bentley Manual) and it says about using the adjuster on the power steering pulley but mine doesn't seem to have one, and I can't see one on any of the other pulleys. Can anyone help, please

It is there it is underneath,if not just loosen the power steering pump and put belt on and use a large screwdriver or bar to pull pump tight. But there should be a tightner under the pump.

This thread might help a bit. https://www.cherokeeforum.com/f2/ser...lt-help-31323/ . You have to loosen the pulley in front of the electric fan. Then you can adjust the tension by the bolt in the power steering pump bracket.

Hmm. That must be a UK thing with the belt tensioner. At least you figured it out though.
