I'm working on cruiser54's ground upgrade after checking my TPS sensor ground resistance and had 1.5ohms. I followed the IAT brown/white wire to a splice with 4 wires going to 2 (one is from the MAP sensor) along with loose shrink tubing. It's the exact same thing that he has in the picture on his sensor ground upgrade tip. Am I supposed to just cut the splice and re solder the same wires?

Also can anyone identify the shiny blue wire with the bare wire coming out of it? Seems strange

 

What year do you have?

If I remember correctly, the shiny one is knock sensor. Needs no ground.
