Question sensor?

my problem is spark! i have fuel i took a fuel line off and it squirted out i have air i took the air box and hose off and tried starting it i have pressure cuz my pressure guage goes up when i try starting it. i sprayed cleaner directly into the intake and no fire so it HAs to be spark my fuel pump make the nice humming sound when i turn it on
is there a sensor that keeps it from sparking and combustin in the combustion chamber?

i took off a spark plug that goes into the combusion chamber and it sparked when i grounded it out

You may have fried your O2 sensor by squirting cleaner down the bore, not to mention f-ing up your TPS sensor too. Just because you have fuel pressure doesn't mean it will start, theres a lot more to it. That line of thinking works on a carb, but not a computer run EFI motor. Are you throwing any codes? Have you looked at the "no start" threads yet?

Main culprit of a no-spark is the CPS sensor. but you already said you have spark, so its most likely a fuel issue.

i replaced the cps twice yeah i got code 41 but that is because i had a voltage regulator externally wired but that was it...................... whooo knows i pressed on the gas and it didnt acccelerate and the rpms didnt raise just idled so must be a feul problem

You mention that your problem is spark, yet in the last line of your post you said that you do get spark when you crank the engine and ground the spark plug electrode while checking the spark.

So those two statements don't match up.

And are you testing fuel pressure with an external fuel pressure gauge hooked up to the schrader valve on the fuel rail?

If you have a strong, blue, snapping spark.....then you need to concentrate on fuel delivery.

YES, you can have fuel going to the fuel rail and great pressure, but no fuel going TO the fuel injectors. Yellow/orange/white spark may be a weak spark that isn't strong enough to start the engine.

This is where a noid light attached to the injectors would be helpful to see if the injectors themselves are getting a "pulse".
