Default seatbelt advice?

my seatbelt buckle keeps letting go randomly as I'm driving . . . it appears the spring that keeps the latch engaged isn't working right . . . the 'button' isn't returning back to the default position . . . I don't know how else to explain it

the passenger side has a lot of spring to it, and the driver side buckle doesn't

is there a way to change the buckle, or fix the spring in there?
I don't want to drive without my seatbelt, or not know if it's going to protect me or not if I get in a crash etc . . .

Snag one from the rear and move it in front.

Good plan. I think it is a T-60 or a T-55 bolt.

My set came from a parts store the whole set was less than $20 and a Jeep has many Torx bolts so the set will come in handy.
