Seafoam questions
Quick questions before I seafoam my '91 XJ with 204k miles.
1) Should I go through the brake booster vacuum hose or the throttle body? I've heard people mention something about the seafoam not distributing properly or something.
2) Will the seafoam foul my spark plugs or 02 sensors?
If anyone has anything else they feel they should add, please do so. Thanks for the help.

Be careful about putting in through the brake booster lines. I did that to my 96 I had with 160k and afterwards it developed a small motor knock. With a motor that has higher miles, like yours, the clearences on the motor arent as tight as they used to be and you will get build up of carbon or residue that fills those voids. When you remove that build up like in my case you can develop motor noise or worse. I have used it many times since then ONLY in my gas tank. I noticed I get 1-2MPG increase on that tank when I run it and it seems to run more smoothly. In my opinion, I would not put it into the motor directly on an older rig with higher miles. now some people would disagree due to their experiences. Good Luck!
