id be careful pouring anything into your oil you dont need to knock something loose and clog your oil pickup
why are you pouring it strait into the throttle body?

I read some stuff on their website about pouring it into vacuum lines and into throttle bodies and carburators. So you guys think just the gas tank is a good call?

I have used SeaFoam in the way that you're talking about (into a vacuum line to get it into the combustion chamber) and to be honest I don't know if it really made a difference. Granted that was in my Honda years ago but the same principals still apply.
The theory behind that is that it knocks carbon build up off the valves and intake runners etc. That being said I never really experienced any negative side effects either.
I have also used it in the oil and it seemed to break some nice sludge loose (again in the same Honda). If you decide to do that DO NOT allow it to run for very long with that stuff in the oil and do a change IMMEDIATELY after you have run the stuff through the crank case making sure you drain every bit of oil out of there you can.
You don't want to have any of that left over thinning out or breaking down the oil for any extended period of time.

please read , google or even youtube the proper way to seafoam your vehicle. it doesnt work like you expect unless its done "right" . its not a magic potion that will just fix every problem by pouring it in your tank. its suppose to be split into 3 parts and it does work well when used like it was intended to. I use 2 cans split into 3 parts for extra cleaning
sea foam causes more harm than good. you want to clean out your block? remove the motor and tear it down. anything else being succesful is a flat out myth. by succesful, I mean breaking years and years of buildup free without completely destroying the motor by pumping all that broken loose material through the oil passages.
go ahead and put it in your gas tank, you're not going to wreck injectors with it, and if you even could, they are easily replaceable.

seafoam is WOW :-) I have used seafoem, 1 bottle in my tank and 1/4 bottle in my throttle body. After i did that the engine was much more silent, the drawback is that i hear all the other things much better ;-) The engine starts better, the transmission shifts better, i dont know why, but when driving the rpm is lower at same speed. When i start the engine the first time after i used it in my TB i couldnt belive the enigine was so silent. When i replaced my TPS and IAC i cleaned the TB and it was full of sticky black "oil", so i think the Seafoam cleaned the rest that i didnt clean and therfore it worked so god on my car. My car is a GC 1993 275.000km i dont think it will work on a new car or a clean engine.
