Default Scrap the transmission cooler?

Hey there. I am doing an engine swap and while I have it all disassembled I have a question. I was reading a long post a while ago with strong and varied opinions about transmission coolers. My jeep has one from the previous owner. At least I don’t think it’s stock. So the question is, should I just hook it up like it was, or should I get rid of it? I occasionally get out but it’s mostly a daily.

I added some lines for the transmission lines. I’m more sure of the flow direction but I’m sure someone here does

That looks factory. I'd leave it.

Mine has one just like that. I did have an issue when one of the lines failed and left me stranded but that was easily fixed and hasn't re-occured.

That's a factory cooler, upgrade to a bigger one.
