Alright so I got another thread flying around about my saggy leafs, so a few of you prolly already read about it, but I'm thinking I might go for Rusty's 3" kit with the spring packs. Since I need new leafs, and I want some kind of lift, this kit isnt a whole lot more than what it would cost to get OEM leafs and then put spacers and shackles on it. Heres what im thinking:
Rusty's 3" leaf pack kit: $438
VS.
New stock leaf pack: $100 (ish)
2" shackle/1.75" coil
spacer kit: $100 (ish)
2" shocks all the way
around $130 (ish)
$330 (ISH)
Suggestions? Comments? Objections? Let's hear your two cents.

I have a Rusty's 4.5" and it has worked out wonderfully. Also, I would avoid using spacers/blocks if possible.

I'd go rough country their Kit with rear leafs is 609 but you also get control arms with that. If you aren't worried about price i'd go with RE.

This was exactly my arguement for getting my 3.5"RE SF with all the additional stuff (trac bar, sway bar bushings, extended brake lines, etc.). I took her on a trip in the XJ and she saw how rough it was with the worn out springs and shocks and coils. Replacing that stuff with OE stuff would not be all that much cheaper. But what you could do is get the shocks for your lift installed, put on now stock spring packs, and later add the AAL to your like new sprinks.
