Rustys HD 3.5" Coils
I won a set of Rustys HD 3.5" coils on Ebay.
Will these sit at 3.5" or higher? I dont have any added weight on the front.
I really wanted to stay at 3" - 3.5" in the front and Im worried they are gonna sit around 4.5".
Experiences?

i think rusty's sits pretty close to advertised height. i know they soften up with time. get a heavy front bumper and add some weight to the front. but since you've already won them, go for it!
when you first install them they'll probly sit higher, but just flex em out and they should settle.

The 305's are rusty's 3.0" HD springs. I have them. I got 3" out of mine after they settled. They are made for winch or aftermarket bumper so they are a little bit stiff but not too bad really.

At least it sounds like I wont be over 3.5" which is the goal.

Bumpers will come much later. I went with the HD since next year I plan to have a cage and wanted something with a little higher spring rate.
They were advertised as 3.5". I looked on Rustys and couldnt find the coil number on the spring I won. I did find this though.
That lead me to believe that they were 3.5" as well.

I work with a guy who just lifted his 98 XJ with a rusty's 3.5" lift and for the first month or so he was sitting OVER 4" but I just saw his jeep today for the first time in probably 2 months and it has settled to almost exactly 3.5"

You are correct. They are 3" not 3.5".
However, thats exactly what I wanted so that works out great.
Thanks for all the help.
