So nothing crazy but I figured this might help out with people with those how much flex questions. This setup is Rusty's 3 inch suspension (add-a-leaf) + budget boost shackles and spacers (just under 2"). So a total of 4.5-5 inches depending on tires. I run 32s. Obviously not going to flex like a long arm kit but decent for a budget lift.
This was in 2wd w/ open diff (i went until i felt rear wheel spin) with both sway bars removed. Prob could have got a little more in 4x4 or with locked rear.
So i hope maybe this helps somebody out. There are many products out there so do your research on all lifts befor you buy one. All products have + and - to them but just wanted to show how rustys performed for comparisons.
sorry pics are a bit blurry. crappy camera on phone

I meant to mention that I have less than 600 bucks in all my stuff. But I forgot. If anybody else has pics of their flex on similar sized kits but different brands please add them to this thread. This will be helpful. And put how much you have invested also.

here is mine. 5" front and 6.5" rear.(i need new coils for the front.) But its rusty's coils. unknown leafs, tera flex 1.5" shackles/spacers. RE adjustable upper and lower superflex control arms both sway bars disconnected on 33's. and factory bump stops. If i had longer shocks i could get alot more flex. but my tire is 39" off of the ground.... so not to bad! her tire got 15" off the ground......

btw the blue jeep is a 4.5" full rough Country kit with factory bump stops, 32's same shocks as mine, and both sway bars disconnected.

I don't know which version of the 4.5" RC lift she has, but mine looks nothing like that. I don't have any ramp pics, but these are just at a little culvert. It wasn't completely flexed because the ditch wasn't at the perfect angle, but you can clearly see the difference. I have the X-Series 4.5" RC, 31x10.50's and the lift, tires and complete installation of everything was $1900. Would have been about $1300 for the lift and tires. Having looked at the other "premium" lifts, like RE and what not, I can honestly say that I am perfectly happy with the one I have. Ride is great on road (firm, but in a good way and not harsh at all), no sag, no need for any addition components to the lift, and the Johnny joint control arms work great. Bash Rough Country all you want, but if you spend $300 on their cheapest kit, it's exactly what you'll get: Cheap. If you spend the $700 on the x-series, you would be just as happy with is as RE or OME. There's a little more to it than the name of the brand.
