Alright this is on my boyfriend's Jeep. It's a 1995 XJ. It's running lean if you look at the spark plugs.. White tips.. We just bought a cold air intake for it and his concern is now that there is much more air flow it will run even more lean. We think it could be dirty fuel injectors? Not really sure, but we would greatly appreciate opinions!

Nah. The fuel injection system regulates the air/fuel mixture.

X2... Cruiser you can prove or disprove this but I swear I heard cherokees were built to run in a slightly lean biased condition from the factory? Or was that late model with the epa emissions junk?

Any plug in good shape, meaning not in there since Moby Dick was a minnow, will be rather white.

At 30,000 miles, when the plugs, wires, cap and rotor are due for replacement, that's how they look.
