Default Jeep overheating during idle

Well I'm back to ask another question and the question is why does my Jeep begin to run hot when I have the A/C running on idle? I changed the radiator hose so now it doesn't do it for about the first 15-20mins that the car is running.

i would look at the fan clutch and the aux fan. typically if you are running hot at idle it would lead to the fan clutch.

Yep, especially if your jeep cools down again once you get moving.

OP: If you can post a video of the fans when the Jeep is hot (and idling) it might help people work out if the fans are working correctly. Sometimes the main fan can be spinning fast enough to look OK but in fact the clutch has gone and the fan isn't really doing any work.

Sounds like the relay for the aux fan is not working.

You can test it by swapping it with another relay that is working.
