The first link you posted is the exterior wipes only. The second link is interior and exterior wipes. The little felt lined pieces that actually touch the window as they roll up and down.
here in St. Louis you can find some nice ones around 1000 and ones worthy of being a parts Jeep for around 500. So both links are the felt pieces only? Do you have the link to the set you bought? I found a set yesterday that looked like it had what I need but I didn’t save it.

Yes, the links are only for the felt pieces at the base of the window. The first being exterior only and the second includes the interior ones which if on a budget, could be left original. As you can guess, only the external ones stop water getting in, the internals are more of a gap cover than anything.

The internal ones tend to last much longer. I probably could have reused the 23 year old original interior ones on my XJ they still had some give to them and were not hard as a rock. Being inside the Jeep they are much better protected from UV rays and other elements. Being exposed to the sun and external elements overtime is what kills most of these seals.

These are the wipes I bought

http://teamcherokee.com/complete-win...eer-1984-1996/

Two of these for the front door divison bars

http://teamcherokee.com/division-bar...che-1984-1996/

Two of these one for driver one for passnger, These are specific to the driver's and passnger side when you order so keep that in mind and dont' order two drivers or two passengers on accident.

Two of these for the back doors. Again they are different left to right like the front doors

http://teamcherokee.com/rear-door-wi...kee-1984-1996/

4 of these even though I only ordered 2. I replaced the ones where the window actually rolls up and down on the stationary glass I simply pushed the old seal higher so it would seal properly again but it probably needed to be replaced.

thank you so much. I’ll return my Quadratec stuff and order these over time. As for the wipes I have all of the exterior ones already and plan to just clean up the interior ones.

Hello sir (Downs),

This specific post is exactly what I was hoping to find.
I have completely taken apart the rear door windows on my '88 XJ to do every single piece of rubber.

I got Division Bar Weatherstrip from Team Cherokee, but they are out of everything else I need now.
I got the rest from Midwest Jeep ******. there is one last troublesome part...

There is a single piece of division weatherstrip on each front door, but the back doors have TWO of these. There's the deeper one that faces the main window, then a "half" piece that faces back to the stationary window. That second piece is nowhere to be found. It's almost like they don't exist? They aren't even listed on the parts diagrams. Am I SOL? Mine crumbled into a million pieces just taking everything out.

Thanks for any help!

I tried test fitting the front facing piece into the rear facing side of the division bar. The division bar is not divided directly in half, so the deeper front piece definitely does not fit in the rear facing slot.
Alas, I have every single other piece of rubber for the Jeep, save for that rear-facing window glass run in the division bar. Like i said, it's like the piece doesn't even exist. The diagrams I have found only show a single division bar weatherstrip.

This one was a bit of a stumper (I still thank you for replying to me to try helping!)...but I found it!

https://www.prp.com/product/detail/352122

This is literally the one and only place I've found that has these and specifically describes it as the channel that faces back to the fixed window.
Regardless, I hope someone finds this if they end up needing this part!

Cheers,

For the rear windows you will not find the small glass divider seals anywhere that are in usable shape, they simply don't make then and they are all dry rotted. The only way to fix this is to use later model 1999-2001 divider bars. In these years and maybe even from 1997 they made the small rear window and divider bar as a bonded pair so there is no removable seal. Your regular rear window will still work with the new bonded divider glass and the same outer window seal is used. The only modification is you need to drill the top divider bar mounting screw over ~1/4 inch, its very easy. I think there is a YouTube video by navy dad describing the process. I did this to my xj in an afternoon and only cost about 40$ from the pull a part.

That is the part I linked. I just ordered 4 from them.
Incredibly hard to find, but they are made. Once I had the part number, I found them here as well: https://www.ocautocarpets.com/wn-pro...iv-post-27788/

They're still around. I'm incredibly excited to have the exact piece.
