Default RTV Clean-up?

Any suggestions how to clean-up RTV off my hands? My wife will be happier if I do. Thanks.

I like Lava soap.

Thanks Mr White, I'll give it a try. I tried some rubber gloves, but they were so old and dried out, they disintegrated when trying to put them on. Need some new ones for next time.

Mineral spirits works or anything along the paint solevent line will work as well. Break cleaner I would imagine works too.

I would say gasoline but that's too expensive to waste nowadays. Especially when you get the kinda mileage most of us do. But it has an intoxicating aroma that my wife just adores so I am sure yours will as well. LOL

I usually mix goo gone and the pump version of lava soap on anything sticky, seems to work for most things lol.

Next time you work with RTV, keep your hands wet. RTV will not stick to water. The best way to smooth out a bead, is to wet your finger. Wipe off excess on a paper towel. Wet finger again, and keep going. It's amazing, No matter how careful you are. It still gets all over you.
