what year are we working with i just loked up replacing the stator it says to mark which way it came out so it can be installed in the same position ive done them in other make vechicles never in a xj b4 could it be in 180 out ?????????????

 

Tried that several times. That won't work because the two sensors aren't in sync so they're sending mixed signals to the ecm. I'm surprised there isn't more written up on this. It took me a minute to even find this info. Ill try to link the info on my girls craptop this evening.

have you checked for vacuum at the map sensor
