seeing how the motor ran fine b4 you pulled it has to be something that happened with the install any way you can post a video of it running and giving it gas so we can get a better idea of the situation???????????

all cylinders are firing. tried new O2 sensor last night,no go

what reference manual are you using when checking firing order of the plugs

haynes manual is off by one post on the dist in the manual

3cm past the pickup coil wiring. Up on tdc the rotor points right at 1 on distributor. Firing orders on the intake.

I abandoned it & came home. Ill find way to push, pull, or drag it to town in the next week or so & have it hooked up to find the exact problem.

is see in a nother post of yours you trimmed the intake runners, is this the samexj could there be stress cracks under neath from this causing this issue?

Intakes not stressed cracked. T relationship between my crank & cam sensors is off.

i cant find the post now but i remember some one having a similar prob he moved the dist he said just a hair and cured his prob ?

I found a few threads on various jeep forums about the relationship between the cam & crank sensor. Many say if you have problems with timing like symptoms(& the timing is perfect)its almost always the index between these two sensors if off. The cam & crank sensor aren't in sync with each other & it confuses the ecm. Fires a lil to soon, fires a lil to late ect.
