Rough-ish idle

Yeah, this was good... mostly because of shooting sticks' remarks, lol.
One more thing I didn't see mentioned was checking the TPS. On Renix, it's adjustable, so you need to be pushing the right voltage or else you beg a bunch of rough idle problems (and shifting problems I've heard, but I haven't noticed that). Multimeter is your friend on Renix engines... like Beef said, everything is based on proper voltages. Get that wrong, your screwed.
I just dealt with proof of that 2 weeks ago on mine when the gas pump resistor failed due to corrosion. Took me 3 days to figure it out and when I did, it cost $5 for new leads and some steel wool to fix. They're finicky trucks, but man they run forever if you baby them.
I'm curious if the problem was solved?
