Dont forget op has a.5spd. According to my calculations the guideline is about 16%? I have an auto so I adjust the tcu side to 83% which gives me .62 at the ecu side. Moved it up .1 or .2 and its perfect........ my input voltage ecu side is 5.01.... so my ecu side does not go with the %rule but it starts and idles perfect. There's a download here http://www.lunghd.com/Downloads_and_Links/Downloads.htm that explains adjustment.
Anyone who wants the easy instructions with a simple tip on checking sensor grounds, just PM me with your email address and I'll send 'em to ya.

They allow you to check either the trans side or the engine side of the TPS, depending upon where your issue is. The generic instructions, which many times are wrong like some on the above link, have you testing the TPS only on the trans side if you have an auto trans. That don't work if the engine side of the TPS is messed up.

The other point for those with auto trans vehicles, is that alomost every instruction out there has you testing on ONLY the trans side of the TPS. That doesn't work well if the engine side of the TPS is bad but the trans side is good. Imagine the wild goose chases people have gone on with a test result like that. You are aware that there are 2 separate ribbons/wipers in the auto trans TPS aren't you?
Did you PM me your email address?
BTW, you can use an auto trans TPS on a manual trans vehicle and they are much cheaper.

Yes. You can use an aut trans TPS on a manual trans equipped Jeep. You just won't use one of the plugs. That info's at the end of the instruction sheet BTW.

Check the sensor grounds per the instructions first. Takes 20 seconds to do. If they're not up to snuff, 4 of your most critical sensors give bad info to the ECU..........

I knew you'd like 'em!! Did you check the sensor ground as described in the beginning of the instructions? I'm curious what you come up with in ohms resistance there.
