Yes, and I put the factory valve cover back on for the time being

Did that push rod get bent at all while that was happening? Summit should send you a handful of those too.

Thankfully no, that was the first thing I checked when I figured it out.

Good deal... so just to discredit jeep electronix, you had a dead cyl and never fired a code, and all your troubleshooting led you to a cyl that was never an issue...thats why we troubleshoot with a beer in one hand, sometimes both hands..glad its fixed
