Anyone want to change their answer or offer a new answer?
I'd still go RC

I got my RC upper and lower ADJ. CA's for $300 shipped. coils and shocks cost me $215 shipped, and when I was unhappy with the shocks I got a set of RC quick disconnects for free.

RC guys will work with you, not against you. that's more than I can say for JCwhitney.
agree'd Jason hooked me up huge 6 months ago, and he's hookin me up huge next week aswell. He beat JCW price even after paying for shipping.

Only problems people have with RC is the shocks. try to get the nitro 9000 and replace the bushings with a higher quality.

Yes, they're shocks have a terrible rep because of simple bushings.

Customer service is where its at.

Where do you get better bushings for them?

I STILL will never go back to those shocks.

I'm gonna drop the big bucks on shocks right off the bat on every build from here on out...I really don't enjoy being tossed around like a rag doll on winter roads (they contract and get bumpy as hell up nort' here)

those type of shocks are pretty much only good for city driving or if you don't care about them for offroading.

if you compare the complete parts list, it's not cheaper...JCWhitney has a tendancy to remove parts from the kit and sell them to you as "add-ons".

and ordering direct OVER THE PHONE will get you an unbeatable price...and the confidence in your purchase. you make a connection with the manufacturer, AND you have the added bonus that they're now obligated to fix anything that's wrong, plus the waranty. AND they appreciate direct business more in my experience and are more willing to work with you than when you buy from a middle man.

RC knows their lift kits better than JCwhitney does.

i have really beaten on my rustys trac bar and i DID mention to them about failure or issues of their trac bar and according to them they have altered their design and to date I have had no issues with it. they did however tell me that if I did ever have a issue they would replace it at no cost even shipping a new one to me and shipping the bad one back if that happens. Just my .02

their quality is getting better.

however, a replacement trackbar does me no good when it fails and I die lol.

at least that's how I look at it. there are scenarios where it could fail and cause a rollover

Your not the only one in that boat. I lifted my xj along with a lot of money spent on basic maintence. I spent 2600 bucks in the last 2 months on this thing, but I knew it had to be done. That's why I went with the AAL.... after the lift was on I had a good bit of sag in the back.... wanna say like 2.5". I just went and got a 2" lift block and it was even steven. I will get a full leaf pack as soon as I can find a good deal on one
