umm....

neither.

and wipe the idea of AAL's from your ideas. they're garbage, unless you plan on them being temporary for 1/2 year.

from personal experience.

I started with RC 3" AAL's.

got 4 months then back to stock height.

tried RC 3" AAL's.

got 2 months.

both sets on D/D only absolutely zero flexing or trail use. less than 20,000 miles combined between the sets.

wasted money.

If you're going to upgrade again in a year, I'd go the budget boost route and get a spacer and shackle. This way when you go 4.5, you can keep the spacer and shackle to add to it when inchitis strikes again. If you are worried about clearing tires, you're probably going to have to trim your fenders regardless of what lift you have.

I{ have a 3.5 Rubicon Express kit with spacers 2" and it was a rough rough ride with short arms, so I ended up going to Rustys for their long arm upgrade and hd adjustable track bar and bracket. I have been extremely pleased with both brands

I have actually heard good and bad things about every company and have decided to piece a lift together. RE and Rusty's make good quality springs, while I like RC's new adjustable control arms. I think that if you take your time and read reviews, each kit comes with something that someone doesn't like. If you grab pieces that you like, or have heard good about from every company, you'll have a kit that's exactly what you are looking for. Just my .02

What I've boleded is THE failure point of Rusty's. they're HD track bars fail...either compressing and bending, or stripping the threads out on the upper end (TRE).

I will ONLY run a heim'd trackbar. so far I'm very happy with my RE trackbar...I have one more on the way and one sitting in my shop. They're great to stock pile when you find them used..because they hardly ever (if at all) fail, and I never know when my next lift will be (already have plans for these two )

not true. cheaper direct, especially if you call in and ask tp speak directly to Jason. he's over on naxja as well.

I got my RC upper and lower ADJ. CA's for $300 shipped. coils and shocks cost me $215 shipped, and when I was unhappy with the shocks I got a set of RC quick disconnects for free.

RC guys will work with you, not against you. that's more than I can say for JCwhitney.

speaking from experience, save your money until you have enough for the kit you want. i've gone through 5 different lift setups all while knowing what i wanted to have instead.

OK--same question but different:

Rusty's 3inch full pack
Rough Country's 3inch full pack
Zone Offroad 3inch full pack

Assume: daily driver, a few excursions in easy rock, some mud, and 31" tires.

Anyone want to change their answer or offer a new answer?

never heard of zone so no.

rustys...only if you don't use their track bar. frankly their leafs aren't impressive either...I've seen several packs with cracked main leafs at the center pin (it's quite common).

RC...yes. again I'd consider a better track bar, but this one won't do you wrong
