Ok so i gota 92 2 door xj and the rockers r pretty much complely rusted away theres jus a bit of them left ... I want to eventully weld in new ones ... But im not able to spend the cash now for that .. Was thinkin of jus grindin whats left of them out and a shot of paint would at least make it look half way decent till i can get around to puttin in new rockers ... Was wondering if anyone had any input .. Ir better ideas for a cheap fix??

Control the rust on what's left till you can buy some 2x6 3/16" wall to weld in place. There are write ups about it. Make sure you are a very capable welder or have a capable welder perform the welding.
