Rocker panels
So, I have wanted a Jeep since I was a kid and got a good deal on one this past summer and I want to start doing things to it. I have some pretty big ideas but want to start with just some touch up stuff for now. At the moment I have no idea how to do anything with this stuff, but I hope to change that. Anyway, the first thing I want to do is replace the rocker panels(they are rusty and really the only reason I got the deal I did on it). Can anyone give me some guidance on a good price point or place where I can look at some. I have some buddies that are welders so I am considering just letting them do it as long as it isn't too difficult a task. I guess I don't even really know what I'm asking here, just wondering if anyone out there can give this newbie some tips.
You can buy replacement rockers at Quadratech. Ckeck out your floors. They have a tendency to rust out as well. If you friends can weld, see if they can to the job. Only do one panel at a time as they are structural. JB

Anyhow you can go that route or this way.

the replacement rockers are fine for OEM tech. If you plan on any offroading, you're gonna want rockrails at somepoint, so consider using a length of 2x6 tube as replacemtent rockers instead.
