Default Replacing TPS - any adjustment required?

Well, my TPS tests bad. No surprise.

I'm ordering a MOPAR unit on Amazon. Sorry, local dealer, it's 70 bucks cheaper on Amazon!

Amazon.com: Mopar 4874371AC Throttle Position Sensor: Automotive Amazon.com: Mopar 4874371AC Throttle Position Sensor: Automotive

Is there any adjustment procedure needed after replacing a TPS?

Not on any Chrysler years, adjustment was only applicable to Renix. I think it has something to do with there being two "sides" to the potentiometer. I can't remember which year you have.

I have a'97 & a '94, but this is the '97.

Thanks, Green One. I knew I had read about an adjustment, but couldn't find anything definitive with a search. Too many results and too little specificity in the threads I found....

Should be here next week and installed by Saturday. Then I'll find out if that's the whole story or just one layer of the onion!

Agreed. No adjustment for 91-01. Adjustment is necessary on 87-90.

Good move on buying a MOPAR unit. Best TPS manufactured.

Yeah, I've seen enough comments on that issue. No sense gambling. Aftermarket is fine for some things. Others, not so much!
