like 1300-1500 for the 96 and down and 1700-2000 for the newer style. Hard saying because alot of stock fans were labels as alot more that what the where

can you just get another stock cooling fan and bolt it right into place of the mahc fan shroud, they look like they are the same size, and just hook one up to a switch

i want this set up sooo bad now. is it as easy as 1 2 3? by both fans? a thermal switch and have it go into the old e fan harnesS?

Default update: OP re-installs fan clutch

So I yanked the mech. fan/clutch assembly and installed what was reported by the ebay vendor to be a 2100cfm efan...gotta say I loved the zippier response, faster spin-up and the quieter ride but in this recent 100-degree heat as soon as I started modest hill climbs at speed the temp gauge started creeping up past 210 and within a mile the aux efan would kick in and the little jeepster would struggle to keep cool...and thats with a newish 2-row rad, new tstat, etc...reinstalled the mech. fan w/ a new heavy duty clutch and the sucker is dead on 210 regardless of what stress I put the little girl through....and btw I was locked and loaded, ready to pull the hammer on a Triple Threat assembly but those &(*%^&(*$ holes would never respond to my simple requests for a little info...shot them 2-emails and it seems that they are an FM-vapor ebiz with no legit support or even a phone number...grrrrrr....

So does anyone know what size those bolts are?? I did a dual electric swap a couple months ago but I left the bolts the way they are without shortening them (very dumb) and they ripped out the wiring on the back of my fan just recently. So I will be making a trip to home depot to get new bolts. How hard are these things to take out??? I don't have a jigsaw also. I'm just a 20yr old kid living in K falls trying to maintain an XJ
