Replacing mech fan w/ electric
There nuts dude the pulley might move out of line a bit but will be ok when you put the nuts back be aware of cheapo fans they are not up to much 2100cfm is alot of air for 30 buck sounds to good to be true i fitted to smaller 12inch fans they put 1500cfm each wired through a thermo switch i dont have to worry about them keeps the motor cool and at a far more steady temp they only need to come on in slow moving traffic so most of the time they are off this is how you save on fuel compared to the clutch fan that is always turning if your electric fans are allways on you will see a bit of fuel saving but it still using the motor to power them i would always recomend a thermo switch plus you dont want to forget you left the dash switch off and overheat

Just a word of caution/food for thought......many moons ago I mounted an efan in direct contact with the rad......vibration took its toll and rubbed a hole in a rad tube.....not good.

Might be a stupid question but do I need to wire the fan as a PUSH or PULL? I have a fan with a reversible motor and am assuming push fan like the mechanical fan but not sure....anyone?
yeh i know the risks if that happens ill just upgrade to a three core the fans hardly come on so i figure ill get some time out of it before it if it ever does wear a hole
should get instructions with the fan some you reverse the wiring some you reverse the blades

I guess I might not have worded my question well enough. I understand how to reverse the fan but I am trying to find out if I need to have the fan set to pull or push the air away or into the radiator when the fan is mounted engine bay side of the radiator.
sorry dude my bad you need a puller fan to pull cold air through the rad as if you where driving at speed
