Default Replacement O2 Sensor?

Hey,
So I am relatively new to the jeep thing, and I have to replace my O2 sensor, Can someone give me a link to one (preferably around $20-$30) that has everything I will need cords etc if needed?

It will be more than 30 dollars but if you want you jeep to run correctly buy Ngk from rock auto. You can go cheaper but you jeep won't like it at all.

Close but no cigar. NGK would be for the spark plugs and NTK would be the brand of o2 sensor.

Upstream: NTK part 23151

Downstream: NTK part 23099

Bother are under $35 each from Rock Auto.

Don't waste your time with other O2 sensors. Lots of parts on Jeeps are interchangeable, this is one that really isn't.

I cosign that, Rockauto and NTK. I replaced just my upstream to make my CEL go away though I'll soon do the downstream. I'm at 160K.

Consider yourself one of the lucky ones.

I did a routine tune-up last year on my '93 including replacement of Bosch o2 sensor with an NTK because of the overwhelming support from forum posters. The Bosch was about 6 years old at the time.

I can tell no difference in performance or mpg. Certainly nothing as dramatic as suggested by the above posts. I always suspect a certain amount of brainwashing in these cases just as we find in a discussion of Bosch platinum plugs which I have also run in my XJ for 6 of the 8 years I have owned it.

Replacing o2 sensor is only "dramatic" when the one you're replacing is faulty...

Fwiw I also use Bosch.

With "dramatic" I was referring to the suggestions in prior posts along the general line that anyone using anything but an NTK would be lucky if their 4.0 ran at all. I did not expect any sort of amazing increase in performance.

IIRC, the later models (like 00-01) came with Bosch o2 sensors from the factory. Those are the only years I'd suggest for Bosch. Otherwise, use NTK

I guess we're back to the question: Why? As I said above, my "93 ran just fine with the Bosch?

I'm going to puke.

Maybe I should take my NTK O2S's out and install Bosch sensors, and while I'm at it replace my WIX oil filter with a Frame filter.
