did you make sure to remove the negative battery cable to reset the system before you started unplugging stuff?

 

i guess you have a trans shiffting issue?

 

im gonna bet its your muffler bearings maybe you should take an exhaust sample and mail to one of us to analyze it

 

1991 sport 4door 4x4 4.0 ho engine and aw4? its an auto trans. and i dont know the error codes, its OBD1

for gettin your codes there is a key cycling trick if you got a haynes bible its in there if not just google it

 

ok i did the key clicking trick, i have codes 12,14,21,23,24,55.

12 - batterey recently disconnected.
14 - Map sensor circuit open/shorted voltage low
21 - o2 sensor out of range/shorted
23 - IAT out of range/shorted
24 - TPS out of range/shorted
55 - end of codes

is this from replacing the TPS without disconnecting the battery? i have quadrupile checked that everything is plugged in properly. any thoughts on a fix?
